Puerto Vallarta 3/2/16

We spent the afternoon hanging on the beach. Ruth found a little beach dress that fits. Most are giant size. Score!

We met Berta and Phil, a teacher friend from Prairie Middle School days for a sunset drink at the Red Onion. Mary and Bob always love the place, but it is never open when we go in November, so we thought we would give it a try. Great drinks and a nice sunset!

Going...going...

Gone!

We had reservations at one of our log time favorite places ~ Encanto! What a pretty little family run restaurant.
Cute little angel on the ladies' room door.

A pottery display.
Enrique was charming, as always, although I did not get to dance with him this time.
Three thumbs up!
We all enjoyed our meals. Rick and I shared the coconut shrimp and a Garbage Salad
.

Encanto always provides so many extras. We first got some chips and corn salsa. Then some little fish cakes. For dessert they brought us a slice of flan to share. And that was followed by kailua and cream for all of us. Love it!

From Encanto, we walked down to the beach and along the Malecon to La Palapa on Los Muertos Beach for Sexy Coffee and some music by Bobby and Gilberto. Bobby is very talented on the flute.

We sure enjoyed our evening with Berta and Phil! It was fun showing them some great places in PV.
