Our last day will be a Lindo Mar beach day. We will get down there just before the wonderful brunch closes and make that our lunch. They have the best brunch around. Then we will hang around the beach being lazy. I hope to finish We Are Water by Wally Lamb today because I have another book waiting from me to download.

We will go into town for Takos Pancho tonight and will wander around a bit.

Sunday we will say good bye to lovely Ocho Cascadas and our beautiful view.

We had a wonderful meal at a new to us restaurant ~ Bistro Teresa. The decor is modern and the food is very good. Feels upscale, but the price is reasonable. We will go again.

Geoff and Gail invited us to join their group of friends there. We enjoyed chatting with Sharon, Mirdu, Sasha, Geoff and Gail. This group knows how to vacation right! Sasha and Mirdu own a condo in Amapas, so they can come whenever they wish. Gail, Geoff and Sharon stay for four months renting inexpensive condos a few blocks inland from the beach. Those three are from Vancouver and the like to escape the winters. Somehow I missed getting a picture of Geoff and Gail.

Victor and Sandy's last day. Beach day at Lindo Mar! Sandy and I swam counterclockwise around the rocks, coming out south of Lindo Mar. Then we swam north to Conchas Chinas beach. Quite a swim and very fun.

We came back to Ocho Cascadas and took a tour of the penthouse. WOW! It will be amazing. The view from up there is something else!

We saved Hacienda San Angel for our last special dinner. This B&B in Gringo Gulch is so beautiful with candles everywhere you look. Ruth and Victor had the red snapper. Sandy and Rick loved their stuffed chicken breast.

The highlight of the evening was La Joya de Mexico, the mariachi band that serenades the tables of Hacienda San Angel. They sound like an orchestra with all of the violins. The horns add so much. The female singer has quite a strong voice. We loved listening to them!

Mas lluvia! Really?!! It has been raining hard all day long. We had pre-purchased Los Veranos Canopy tour tickets and they go rain or shine, so off we went! We met them at the Los Veranos office and enjoyed a bumpy bus ride to the zipline area near Boca de Tomatlan.

The jungle was bug free with all the rain, but we sure got wet! Funny thing is that Sandy and I have matching purple rainjackets.

We got a good laugh about that. The Los Veranos guides are a riot. They kept us entertained all day long. Sandy and Victor went upside down! What great fun!

After the zip lining we had fun with the tequila tasting.

And the best was saved for last! Charly shared his animals with us. He has a baby boa constrictor...

a rose tarantula...

and monkeys.

What a sunset the rain brought us tonight. The best of the whole trip! Photo op!

Ruth and Sandy chose matching blouses tonight to carry on the theme of the matching purple rainjackets.

We went to one of our very favorite restaurants tonight ~ Encanto. It is a family run place tucked back in a neighborhood. You would never know it was there. Piano stands out in the street to guide your taxi to his place. Good thing because our driver thought we were lost.

Tonight we ran into Connie, Greg and Deb some of Ruth's Tripadvisor friends. Ruth seranaded Goyo (Greg) last year for his annual Encanto Birthday Party, but she had lots of help from the three mariachis. Last night she sang La Paloma Cucurucucu to Greg by herself....ouch....forgotten words...still very fun!
