We ventured south today on the bus ~ an adventure in itself ~ to check out Costa Sur. Before our second Lindo Mar week became available, we had a week at Costa Sur booked. We wanted to check it out. Very nice resort with a lovely pool and beach. The rooms are not nearly as nice as Lindo Mar, but we could make it work. We like the location south of town. Costa Sur is very close to Lindo Mar.
We jumped back on the bus and went to the beach at Mismaloya. The very first time we came to PV, we stayed at La Jolla de Mismaloya condominiums. What a fun and funky beach with the Mismaloya river emptying into the little bay.

They made a bridge to get to the restaurants. We had lunch and enjoyed some people watching.
For dinner we went to Chenan2 (Chenando's), the site of a wonderful dinner on our last trip. With had the delicious tortilla soup ~ the best I have ever had! We also split an order of coconut shrimp. Equally delicious. We enjoyed talking with Christian, the son of the chef/owner, Fernando. I asked about the Chenando name for the restaurant and Christian said that Chenando is a nickname for Fernando. Never knew that.

While we were in the neighborhood, we walked two blocks north to Encanto and made reservations with Enrique for next week when some friends come to town. Love this sweet little place tucked snugly in the neighborhood.

We stopped by Andales and peeked in. Lots of gringos!
Bobby and Gilberto were playing at La Palapa, so we listened to them for a bit before heading home.
