We made it to Puerto Vallarta by 11:30 am and headed right to Sea Monkey (the restaurant in our condo Vista del Sol) where we put our toes in the sand, had a cerveza and split an order of fish tacos. Yum! Today is super hot and super humid. We are dripping. Coloradans (is that a word?) are not accustomed to anything humid!
The next order of business is to get some grocery shopping done, so we headed back north to Walmart and stocked up for our two weeks at Vista del Sol.
With that business done, we unpacked and played some cards on the balcony while taking in the beautiful Banderas Bay. From our patio we can see north to Punta Mita and south to mountains that mark the end of the bay. Quite a view. There is always something to look at. Right now they are building two new palapas at Sea Monkey.
Hurricane Odile brought large waves into the bay and many structures were damaged. The restaurant just to the south of Sea Monkey is being totally rebuilt, with large wooden beams. Lots of activity (and noise), but we wont complain, as we love it here so!
