Our good friends Dave and Ellen live in Glenwood Springs, CO now. What a beautiful home they have. Rick is very jealous of Dave's huge pond. They have apple trees, lots of land and shaded porches on all sides of their home. Jayne was on her way to the Wine Festival in Grand Junction, so she spent the night, as well. Ellen treated us to an excellent dinner. She is a creative cook! Dave made a bonfire in his firepit just for Jayne. We wished we were not heading in the opposite direction so we could have gone to the Festival with them all the next day.
PS Dave, we made it down in under 2 hours and Ruth was even driving!
