We made the move from Vista del Sol to Lindo Mar on Saturday. Lindo Mar is such a special place. You are in your own little universe here.There is a cozy little beach with volcanic rock formations that house lots of little critters. Fun to snorkel here, although the clarity can be an issue sometimes. Still fun. I have seen lobster, moray eels, parrot fish, sergeant majors and all the other little tropical fish.

On Sunday our friends Kathe and Jorgen met us for the wonderful brunch at La Playita, the restaurant here at Lindo Mar. It is very popular and people come from all over the city. We had fun visiting with our friends and playing with their great grandson, Mathias!

After brunch we set out for El Torito to watch the Denver Broncos play the New England Patriots. What a dismal game. We did not stay for the end of the fourth quarter.

We then headed for the plaza near the church to hear the Civic Band play. Lots of people dance, the families are out strolling and their is such a festive atmosphere! There are balloon toys to be purchased for the kids, booths selling crepes and all kinds of foods. The Malecon is full of people enjoying the evening. I think the Mexican people know how to spend a Sunday!

Today is our Wildlife Connections Dolphin Tour. We went to the Marina Pier to meet Eduardo who showed us an interesting slideshow about dolphins. We then got on the zodiak and headed out of the harbor. There were 9 of us on the tour. A couple from Pueblo, Mexico were dolphin lovers. Juan Pablo and Lerua come to Puerto Vallarta four times a year to swim with the dolphins with Wildlife Connections.

Eduardo and Angel would locate a pod and then we would slip into the water and swim over to the dolphins, diving down when we got close. It was an incredible experience. Sometimes they would play with me, swimming in circles right below me while I followed their circles as best I could. My best experience was when I was right above two swimming together and one turned upside down to look at me. This experience was one of the most amazing experiences.

Halloween was a busy day for Ruth and Barb. The first order of business was to get the massage that we were denied yesterday at Lizardo's. Worth the wait...80 minutos of masaje!!

Halloween in Puerto Vallarta is such a kick. We love it! When we first began coming here, Halloween was not as important as it is today. At first, a few kids would come around. Then, more began coming out, but most were dressed in dresses or shirts made of Halloween themed material. The kids used to chant, "Yo Quiero Halloween! Yo Quiero Halloween!" Now, Halloween is a huge deal. We brought 257 colorful and patterned pencils with us and we sold out right away!

This year we went to Sol's Cafe Bohemio. We used to go to Andales first and then Sol's but we decided this year to just start out at Sol's. He is such a hoot. This year he dressed as a genie!

Rick and I bought our "hair" at King Soopers. Very fun. Yo quiero Rick!

Our group included Barb and Bill, Kathe and Jorgen, their granddaughter and her husband and their 18th month old child and Rick and Ruth. I always order the Shrimp Imperial (recommended by mi amiga, Maria!). Who can dislike bacon wrapped shrimp!
